  • In this article, learn how to use Trust Wallet to connect to Featured, create your first NFT, list that NFT for sale, and join future promos.

To interact with a significant NFT marketplace like Featured, which facilitates decentralized transactions and directly connects creators to fans, you have to connect your own crypto wallet.

Trust Wallet provides an easy way to store and access all your crypto-collectibles with peace of mind and security. Crypto collectibles are secured on the blockchain and associated with a public address. This is why Trust Wallet has more than 10 million users. Here are some characteristics that make Trust Wallet ideal for accessing NFT platforms like Featured:

1. Privacy and Security

When you create your own crypto wallet address via Trust Wallet, only you have access to your private details, and no one else can see it. Trust Wallet does not collect any personal data. This way, you can keep your assets to yourself, without worrying about hackers and scammers.

2. Easy Access to DApps

With Trust Wallet, you can use your favorite (dApps) decentralized apps and find new ones, without leaving your app. This facilitates your easy access to Featured, among other blockchain innovations like DeFi (decentralized finance).

3. Convenient Viewing of NFTs

With an easy-to-use interface, it takes only a few taps for you to see your collectible assets, like NFTs, crypto-based art, and others. This way, you can quickly act on whether you want to buy or sell your NFTs.

Featured supports many crypto wallets, including Trust Wallet. It only takes a few steps.

1. Download the Trust Wallet app

On your smartphone, install the Trust Wallet app "Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet" through the App Store / Google Play / Android.

After installation, open the app.

You will be greeted with two options. You can either log in to your Trust Wallet account, or create a new one. Most likely you will want to create a new one, so click [Create a new wallet].

You will be required to confirm you have read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Click the [check box] and press [Continue] .

Continue to follow the instruction for the wallet creation.

The next page after this will give you a seed phrase. This phrase will consist of at least 12 words that must be kept safe. You CANNOT LOSE these and you also CANNOT SHARE them or you will risk losing your wallet account forever.

After you complete the verification that you have saved your seed phrase somehow, then you have created your new wallet. Now your wallet is created, you can click on Binance [Smart Chain] row to view details about Binance Smart Chain BNB account and its balance.

Your wallet address will be the long string of numbers and letters, having a prefix "0x". You can copy your full wallet address by click on [Copy] on your BNB detail page.

Now your Trust Wallet account is created and ready to go!

On the top-right corner of the Featured website, you can see this button. A pop-up window will display, where you can choose Trust Wallet among the available options.

After that, you will see a QR code for the WalletConnect function that will link your Trust Wallet to Featured. You can also copy this QR code to your device, in case you’re using just one mobile device for accessing both Featured and Trust Wallet.

2. In Trust Wallet: Tap “Settings” Then “WalletConnect”

Open the Trust Wallet app on your mobile device, go to Settings > WalletConnect, you can then scan the QR code that is shown on the Featured website. You can also select the Images icon on the bottom-right part of the QR scanning function, then select the image of the QR code from Featured that you saved on your mobile device.

3. Connect and See Your Address

Once the QR scanning step is complete, your Trust Wallet prompts you to confirm the connection to Featured. Once you click “Connect,” you’ll see your connection details, as well as the crypto wallet address you’ll use for browsing Featured.

Creating and Listing Your First NFT

With Featured, it’s easier than ever to mint, list, and sell your first NFT. All you need are your finished artwork, a few crypto funds in your Trust Wallet, and completion of the following steps.

You can see the “Create” button on the top-right corner of the Featured homepage (on desktop) or on the drop-down menu at the top-left corner (on mobile).

You’ll then see a web page where you can upload your artwork and fill in the details like title, description, number of editions, external link (optional), collection type, royalty rate, NFT type, and category.

2. Click “Mint NFT” and Pay via Trust Wallet

In this step, your artwork becomes an NFT. But first, you have to pay for the network fee needed to create your own NFT. Once you click “Mint NFT,” proceed to your Trust Wallet to check the details of the transaction.

You’ll see the amount of crypto to be paid for network fees (usually in ETH) to finish your NFT minting process. Make sure that you have sufficient crypto funds on your Trust Wallet to complete your NFT creation process.

3. See My NFTs and Choose Between Fixed Sale and Auction

Once you’re done making your first NFT, you can see that on My NFTs, which you can access on the icon at the top-right corner of your screen (on desktop) or under the drop-down menu at the top-left part of your screen (on mobile). You will have to connect your Trust Wallet first to proceed with this step.

Then, select the NFT you want to sell from your collection and choose “Sell” to start the listing process.

If you want to sell your NFT for a specific rate, choose “Fixed Price” from the drop-down options for your NFT’s sale type, enter your price, and click “List NFT for Sale.” This is called the Fixed Sale process.

If instead, you want to go for an auction, follow the next step.

4. Set an Auction for Your NFT (Optional)

Under the sale type question, you should choose “Auction” if you want an auction-type sale for your NFT. Then, enter the minimum bid you’ll entertain and the expiration time for the bidding process, and click “List NFT for Sale.” Just like that, you’ve created an auction for your artwork.
