How to Connect MetaMask wallet (Mobile device)

This page contains guidelines on how to download and connect MetaMask wallet on Featured via a mobile device or a tablet.

This setup is required only if you want to make any transactions on Featured via your mobile device.

Download MetaMask App

On you mobile device, download MetaMask App and create the wallet following the instructions.

A seed phrase will be given to you during the wallet creation. This phrase will consist of at least 12 words that must be kept safe. You CANNOT LOSE these and you also CANNOT SHARE them or you will risk losing your wallet account forever.

Now your wallet is created, your wallet address will be the long string of numbers and letters, having a prefix "0x". You can copy your full wallet address by click on the shortened address on the main page or under the 'Receive' page

Connect MetaMask wallet

1. Change the Network to Binance Smart Chain Mainnet

Open your Metamask Wallet, ensure that you are logged into the account of your choice. If this is the first time you download MetaMask app into your mobile device, you should see the Network shown on the top (underneath [Wallet]) is Ethereum Main Network. You will need to change it to "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet" first in order to connect your MetaMask Wallet with us.

Since MetaMask is set by default to connect to the Ethereum Mainnet, not the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network. To change to the correct Network, you will need to add a custom RPC network to MetaMask to use it with the Binance Smart Chain. To do so, simply follow the below steps:

• Open the menu by clicking the menu icon (the three horizontal bars) on the top left corner, and then select [Settings]

• On the [Settings] page, select [Networks]; On the [Networks] page, tab [Add Network]

• Enter parameters for Binance Smart Chain Mainnet. Below are the parameters to fill in for each:

  • Network Name: Binance Smart Chain Mainnet

  • New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

  • Chain ID: 56

  • Symbol: BNB

  • Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

• Then select [Save].

Once it is saved, you can go back to the [Wallet] page and you will see the network has now changed to "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet".

If you have downloaded MetaMask app for a while and previously added "Binance Smart Chain Mainnet" onto the Network list, simply tap onto the [Wallet] on top of the page, and in the pop-up window, you will see the list of Networks available and select [Binance Smart Chain Mainnet].

2. Search for "Featured.market" in Browser

Open the menu by clicking the hamburger menu (the three horizontal bars) on the top left corner and then select [Browser]. Once selected, you’ll be able to input "featured.market" or the website URL which will direct you to Featured (featured.market).

The screen will then be diverted to Featured.

3. Connect wallet

After opening Featured, click on the menu icon on the top left corner of Featured page and then select [Connect Wallet].

4. Select MetaMask

A dialog box should open up with the 4 wallet options. Click on the [MetaMask] option. If this is the first time you connect MetaMask with Featured, system will prompt you again if you want to connect to Featured, just select [Connect], and you should be successfully connected to the marketplace.
